Elmer, so if they have to raise Vcc to 1.8 volts to get rid of the instability or crash problem in SOME of them, it's possible some of the rest, at that voltage, will burn. Crash and burn, baybe. AMD can kiss Dell, if not their own ass, goodbye.

So if instability under heavy load is a possible issue for both Intel and AMD, at least Intel designed in a safety feature to cover their customer's ass. Athlons simply crash. Looks like Jerry was concerned about his customer's ass as well but covering it wasn't what he had in mind.
