Mark, gold only has value as a speculative tulip. Money is either the USD, or stocks. Common stocks have the added value of being inflation adjusted. <VBG> If people are really into long term metal’s investing, the future in precious metals are PGMs, that's the play, energy conversion (fuel cells, catalysts, etc.) IMO trade gold and trade it often.

And how long did the .com bubble inflate? I expect no problem until we see "Gold will go up forever" on the cover of Time Newsweek US News & World Reports 3 weeks in a row.
