Haim, regardless of the efficiency of solar, what I look at is how much it costs to produce a kwh under average operating conditions from the units now being sold by APWR. The best comparison is between the units designed to operate into the grid and the cost of buying power from the grid. At this point, given the huge rise in electric power costs in places like California, the solar units are cost competitive, without even a subsidy. If the Bush energy plan provides tax credits for solar, as now seems likely, the demand for solar units will increase greatly.
