I worked for a mining company too, but well ahead of their crew, and got a decent impression of the guy i was dealing with ... at a time when i was having trouble keeping up with the fuel and parts bills, so not thinking about buying shares in anything ... actually i still have contact with that guy i was reporting to, now retired The only real significant insider info i ever got came about the same way, through a contract i was doing i had intimate knowledge of several pieces of land and was asked to do some guiding and answer some very leading questions ... well it was pretty clear where things were going, and they turned out exactly as i suspected ... but - good thing i didn't mortgage the ranch for paper in the one you'd reasonably expect to go up on that news, because it went down, and stayed down for some time following ... that was the most glaring example, but there have been other cases since when i really doubted the value of insider information to the speculator ... all things considered it is better to play on the public info, the chart, and your hunches ... imho gtt.v - talk to Bob Mackin ... seriously ... he's a busy man of course, it wouldn't be good to take up too much of his time, but WIBN is his baby ....... all the others are just dickheads mouthing it up on the subject ... yes me too qbx.v - this could be the week, or perhaps the week following [financials before month-end it is rumoured] ... or maybe some week in freakin September, who knows for sure ... i'm just playing the odds on it for Al's contest ... and avoiding the herd instinct into the gold juniors because hey it's a five day contest and we've seen so many of these little PoG burps fizzle in three days ... of course this entire post is just a bunch of gibberish typed while i'm sitting here waiting on the PoG to print 300 -g- ..... kitco chart finally updating now - kitco.com 295.85 last ... but time to go, i am informed ... nay, ordered
