Ken,

Maybe we were all just watching the seasons final X-files show? You know the Truth is Out there.

I looked at IEE. How does a $1.5B sales company have less than $1M in cash? There is something bizarre going on with that number? Other than that how come you don't mention these stocks at 5 before they jump to 8?

Joe

<<no one wants to comment on IEE>>

I went out for dinner and just got back a few minutes ago.<g>

The chart looks good. The up-move on 5/10 was with a volume of 766,400 not only brought the price over the February 6 H but over the H of the 1st week of September as well. The next resistance is now the triple-top (Hs on the 3rd & 4th week of January 2000 and 1st week of February 2000) at the 9 level. but the stock has held its recent gains well and it seems should be able to test the H of the 1st week of January 2000 at the 10.50 level before long.

There was some insider selling in February but there has been slight buying in April.<g>

At any rate, institutions reportedly have been buying and the stock is not overpriced, actually looks cheap,<g> with a PE of less than 10, price/book of 0.6 and price/sales of 0.2

For the 3 months ended in December revenues were up 27% to 427 million and net income was up 169% to 7 million.

For the 3 months ended in March although there was slight sequential dip in revenues to 418.5 million, net earnings were up to 8.07 million

Analyst recommendations since January have been "Buy" & "Aggressive buy" with the most recent up-grade on May 10.

The company seems to have a diverse customer base. MCI was the only customer which represented 11% of revenues, with the others less than 3% on average.

It seems like a good buy to me, not only for the 10K, but for the real folio as well.<g>

Mijo, how the heck are ya? Did you have a nice meal out? Ok., IEE...since you have already done the F.A., I'll take a stab at some chart work. Looks like the 50 and 200 are going to cross again sometime soon...maybe between 6.25 and 6.50. Even though it is somewhat overbought, the short term stochastics are showing that some real nice swings between 8 and 9 are possible.

I would be curious to watch it real close to see if the current trading range holds for a while...
I don't like not being able to trade at work!! I've missed two opps at 22 for JDSU. (I'm in at 20.). tomorrow may be my last chance as the charts are showing a downturn...Do you know anything about HM? Thinking about maybe an entry at 7.25 or so....

Ken, you're buying IEE for all the right reasons...for an investor. Sector strengh, discount book value, discount PE/growth, upgraded earnings, etc.

I haven't had an opportunity to look over the debt yet.
Otherwise, looks like something I would buy.

GOLD...I told George to buy GOLD when he sold MTNT. It's almost time to sell gold stocks now. (short term)

KOPN going for secondary target.

Sergio

ps KZAP...please join in on 10k run.
