he P4 may under extreme conditions slow down momentarily but still run and maintain system integrity, while the Athlon helplessly crashes and you call the P4 a fraud.

Please reread my post. The P4 is not fraudulent. The advertising surrounding it may be. I don't know what is considered fraudulent advertising but I suspect the explanation of clock throttling buried in a tech document may not be sufficient for the average consumer.
