Hi Harry,

I am taking a very small (5%) short position in the following stocks; AMAT, KKD, JNPR, MERQ, CCMP, FCEL and PLUG .. either my head will be handed to me on a silver platter or I will make some money... This market is insane! People are not afraid of froth any more. Ofcourse if they don't move as planned I will be taking some losses to close it out.

Later,

Suresh

08:07 ET Advanced Micro (AMD) 32.49: Merrill Lynch analyst Joe Osha trims FY01 est. to $1.37 from $1.52 and FY02 to $1.81 from $2.09; doesn't see why investors need to own the stock as numbers continue to come down; investment rating remains Neutral.

[Harry's comment: 50 percent of all semiconductors in dollar terms still go into computers, till that changes the technology segment need the PC segment to firm before any sustained rally can occur.]
