OT:
Uncle Frank and anyone else:

Do any of you know anything about TELM? It is running this morning. I can't find any news. I introduced it a week or so ago as a new topic because I wanted info but so far nothing.

Appreciate any information from anyone.

<<What are we going to do about Junes?>>

Not just for QCOM but in general. Looks like it will be harder to collect fat premiums. From today's WSJ or online at wsj.com from 5/18:

Options Report: Investors Sell Options as Flat Market Looms
By Kopin Tan of Dow Jones Newswire

"Options volatility, already at its lowest level in some months, edged down even further amid the busy trading of Expiration Friday.

But while lower volatility typically means reduced and more attractive premium for option buyers, many investors continued to sell options."

"The options market's tech-sector fear gauges or Nasdaq volatility indexes also eased to their lowest levels in nearly eight months - a sign of gathering investor complacency toward tech stocks.

The CBOE's Nasdaq volatility index, or VXN, fell 4.28 to 54.41. VXN has not reached this level since it closed at 54.25 on October 19 last year."

What are we going to do about Junes?

Here are my thoughts.

June 70s (or lower <g>)- Aggressive
June 75s - Moderate
June 80s & above - Safe.

I am going to see how today ends up before doing anything. May split between 75s and 80s. May do all at 75. Looking forward to what you and others think.

Note - I just got to my computer today, so I haven't checked the premiums yet.

UF, et al - For those of us writing CCs on QCOM there is one event we will have to begin to factor in in a month or two, Spinco distribution at the end of September. I only bring this up now to begin orienting us to think about how this will affect QCOM's price going forward (in addition to the usual macro-economic issues, QCOM-related FUD, etc.).
