heinz, earnings does not matter .........as long as the dollar index is above the 100 to 105 level. Until then money is flowing into the US. As to the majority of US investors what would you expect ? some wisdom or caution? no way they load on credit card debt and buy smoke and mirrors with both hands. the only way this will change is when the trade deficit will not be exchanged into US financial assets and IMHO the 100 to 105 range is crucial.
