Most everyone wants to talk about short squeezes, inflation, and currency collapses as a catalyst for a rise in gold. Usually it's something out of left field that people aren't expecting that can turn a bear market around. Due to high PGM prices, I'm interested in the potential use of gold in catalytic convertors, which could be a significant market and the "catalyst" to higher prices that many are searching for.
