I'm totally shocked. Who could have SEEN this coming?

>>Based on the company's current assessment, revenues for the second quarter will be down
approximately 48% from the first quarter of 2001. This compares to prior guidance of a 25%
decline<<

Whoop de doo. CHRT is down 20 cents. No matter what, with all the liquidity and the hype, this market just wants to go up.

Tomorrow is the book to bill number. If it's improved the market goes up because it's improved. If it falls, the market goes up because they think the FOMC will give another inter-meeting .5 point cut.

BWTFDIK?

Im starting to sound like a broken record Tom, so without making this a long drawn out blah blah blah post ill keep it simple:

Memory prices plunged AGAIN today.. 256mb fell by $15.00 from Fridays price...

Today was actually the steepest decline I have ever seen without any real 'news'...

Im trying to find a price to reshort AMAT, MU and a few of the others.. I want to see how far this market can move tho.. I think by end of week the nasdaq should be exhuasted but this is from the same guy who thought we would be at 1800 by now..

Thank goodness for the fuel cell longs :)

Tom, I know you're mostly long and STOR is off your radar but has weakened recently in a strong market.

If we get some softness in Naz this week, may break downward ....
