JAPAN BUSINESS BRIEFS: Brocade Opens Operation In
Japan

TOKYO -- Brocade Communications Systems Inc. (BRCD), a leading provider of platforms for
networking storage in the U.S., has launched operations in Japan; the move is aimed at addressing
Japanese firms' growing data storage requirements. Brocade now has six offices in Asia, including
those in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore and Sydney.
