"The real question on everyone's mind is how does the i860 and the Intel Xeon compare to the upcoming 760MP and the Athlon 4 We have been benchmarking that very combination for weeks now and soon enough we will be able to provide you with the definitive answer in many more test scenarios than those we just presented to you"

From a mom and pop: How long would benchmarking of two systems like this, side by side, take in a normal (or perfect) testing environment? Hours? Days? Weeks?

Hi Jdaasoc; Re: " How long does it take to say that dual Athlons beat dual Xeons. Something tells me that we are having some more shaky DDR mainboard results again."

The word I'm hearing is that the 760MPs are running beautifully, though admittedly I heard it from a guy who despises Rambus and has switched from Intel to AMD.

Another explanation for Anandtech's not telling us what the performance is would be NDA.
