Question: I had written some May 35 calls on TXN (closed Friday around 40). I just checked my account, the stock is still there. If a stock is called away, when does that usually happen?

Hello JungleCat. I received two assignments in April. Schwab had updated my account by Sunday afternoon two days after the Friday expiration.

When I have had shares called away, my broker usually calls me the Monday after expiration between 9:00 & 9:30 AM.

My history usually reflects the shares removed after the open (in my holdings file).

Perhaps a call to your broker is in order?

Fidelity doesn't record the sale on my online account until it updates my account on Monday night at midnight. Until then the account reflects the status as of Friday night. Option expiration actually occurs on Saturday. Fidelity isn't good at realtime matters but they are getting better.
