To All, Funny stuff on CNBS this morning. Joe Kernan showed up cranky and full of crap. The hairspray machine must have been on the fritz. Anyway, he mentions how everyone should buy tech stocks because no other sector of the economy is growing at 50-60%. Mark Haynes, the one mind on this silly network that is both rational and informed from time to time, noted that tech has NEVER grown that fast. So cranky Joe sputters and says, "then 30-40%." Haynes calls him on it again. So Kernan says, "are you talking revenues or earnings?" Haynes says "Either one, you pick 'em!" So, caught once again trying to stampede the braindead herd by firing blanks behind them as they munch loco weed in the pasture, Joe the raw nerve starts telling Haynes about how they don't need guests on CNBS any more as Haynes knows everything about everything. A classic. I'm glad I get up early in the morning now to go to work. O.K., that was a bigger lie than 40-60% growth. <G>
