Craig I do not follow platinum or palladium. What I do know about gold is that producers can barely get it out of the ground and processed for the prices it is getting these days. All these demands for gold you are talking about are not new- and still gold has been eating the carpet. And there are a lot of trading and margin/shorting games played with it as a commodity that have nothing to do with the true underlying supply & demand. Re gold now I'd bet some big gold trader is proabably just truing up a big short position, that's all. Victor
