Jim, P-4 duls XEON is worthless if it has that hot spot detector.
What happens when one chip goes half speed? does the other go half speed too? or will they run with two clock speeds(I do not think so), so it will then run like a single P-4 and cost a whole lot more.

Oh no, quite the contrary. If you actually optimize the code, you end up with 'power intensive' code, and the TCC kicks in.

Best to keep that code sloppy, for the best P4 run times.
