Clinton, Gore, and their ReichMinistry of Propaganda wrote the book on "People are Stupid" and pointed to two minority presidencies as if that proved them profound. Bush and Cheney believe in empowerment, the ultimate statement that not only are people smart, they are responsible.

Clinton and Gore were cynics. They will see their theme proved wrong in just the first Bush administration. Pity Carville...
