Nikon Selects SanDisk CompactFlash Cards for the New Coolpix 775 -- the World's Lightest 3X Zoom Digital Camera

Pocket-Sized Point-and-Shoot Digital Camera Includes SanDisk Card to Capture Digital Photos and Video Clips

SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK) announced today that Nikon has selected SanDisk's CompactFlash(TM) cards for its latest ultra-portable digital camera, the Coolpix(R) 775. An 8-megabyte (MB) SanDisk CompactFlash card will be included with each camera.

The Nikon Coolpix 775 features a 3x zoom lens, 2.14 megapixel CCD, USB cable for one-touch image transfers to the web and a Movie Mode that allows users to create video clips. The Coolpix 775 is the lightest pocket-sized point-and-shoot digital camera and is expected to be available in July at a suggested retail price of $449.95.

SanDisk CompactFlash cards are rugged, reusable, matchbook-sized storage cards that are available in capacities ranging from 8 to 512 MB, with suggested retail prices starting at $34.99.
