Dear Dave: Well, here is something more recent that I believe our friends in Penna will attest too, perhaps other states as well. I have been told that Penna. now has MORE DEER than in 1900!! Course this was told to me in the context that Deer are a nuisance. haha. I also understand there are more deer in Pa than people now, probably a good thing (gg). No one on this thread appreciates the great outdoors more than myself, and I am probably a minority of one that has the vehicle (modified jeep) that allows me to get out and ACTUALLY SEE what others are arguing about. I believe in Conservation, I do not believe that requires the elimination of the human race from the environment to accomplish that. There are VERY FEW species of animals that dont coexist very well with humans, I know that from personal observation dont need some so called scientist to tell me. Now, I am not talking about subdivisions merely humans passing through forests. jdn
