SCUMbria - re: "When the President and Vice-President of the US talk about recession, smart investors get out of the market."

If the President and Vice President said that money grows on trees, would all investors head off to Yellowstone or Yosemite or the Ozarks to collect their riches?

>When the President and Vice-President of the US talk about recession, smart investors get out of the market.

Which is exactly what happened during the first three months of Bush's administration.

Like the new administration can do something overnight in the wake of 6 straight rate hikes by the Fed. Even CEOs of companies or pro sports coaches are given some years to turn around a loser.
