But, this was in response to my statement:

on a percentage basis, I would have to say that there are far more hypocrites who pretend to be moral on religious grounds, but whose behavior has little to do with that very religion than there are genuine atheists who are immoral in the sense of not living to a moral code.

Read again, carefully. I am comparing pseudo-religious hypocrites versus immoral atheists ... nothing about hypocritical atheists, which I agree would represent a certain definitional challenge.
