Not only the body politic but the administrations (postal services, firefighters, police, the military, etc) and even the media (TV networks, showbiz) and --except for France, the UK, and the Netherlands-- sports (soccer, athletic sports). This is particularly disturbing, isn't it? Since we would expect from "enlightened" Europe to make a little room for its minorities in the showbiz and sports.... Well, even a black sportscaster would be considered as "miscast" by most networks.... Contrariwise, in the US, an "angry black male" basically is a guy who must wash his Mercedes himself for otherwise, he'd have hired some Mexican to handle it... <g> Indeed, Europe has nothing to lecture the Yanks on! Err... OK, except a few culinary tricks... As far as race relations are concerned, I think Europe today stands where the US stood in the 1920s. Gus.

Not only the body politic but the administrations (postal services"2 Charley, here in Europe we are 100% white Europeans and until now we have managed to remain a white race, but don't worry about it, at the rate we have African, Albanian and Asian immigarting here soon we will be like Zebras, a race with black, yellow and white stripes! Will that make you happy to see blacks and CHinese in EC parliment and cabinets? You wait and we will have thems soon! I think Belgiums are about to elect an Iraqi to the EC parliment, Guswald el Rassuli! ggg
