Nemer,
Thanks, the orthopedic also suggested ibupropen but lighter doses.
The numbness happens in my right hand more than the left but
not in both hands at the same time.

Nemer,

I just wanted to send you a big thank you for encouraging me to build my own "Esteban" computer system. It's been running flawlessly for 2 weeks now, after a fairly painless building process.

For those interested, I built an AMD Duron 750 with 512ram on a kt133a type motherboard. The 40gb Western Digital 7200rpm hard drive is noticeably much faster than the 5400 I had been using.

I settled for the Duron 750 because I could get one for about $40, play with overclocking at low risk, then upgrade in a few months to the cooler running Palomino AMD chip at 1.5gz or faster. As it turns out the 750 is already so fast that it's hard to believe I would notice the difference at faster speeds. Still, I'm going to experiment because it's fun!

So thanks, Nemer, and thanks to everyone for building a thread that offers so much encouragement.

Esteban
