<<Liking what I am seeing/hearing in the Interactive TV markets. OPTV began their rollout with 6 million broadband set-top boxes last night. Summer is the time when set-top boxes can be deployed. I expect other companies to follow suit. . . and the software makers and programmers to heat up this summer, with each box deployed.>>
Rande - I still think GMST is the best way to play interactive TV rollout. Apart from their IPG and VCR license revenue, they have some potential huge upside in their e-books and interactive TV horse race business. They have strong patents and defend them vigorously. It requires some strong stomach muscles, but is a great swing trader. I always hold 200 shares for the big pop, but trade blocks of 200-300 shares on inter-week swings. It is almost always good for 3-4 points during the week. Right now, I'm a buyer at 38-39 and a seller at 43-44. Sold 200 shares @ just under $43 at yesterday's close and looking to load up again under $40. I am expecting news soon about major new licensing partners.

Rande - very poetic but off the mark. You sound like all the hypsters on CNBC or Bloomberg. No one willing to talk about the valuation, or derivative explosion or the fact we are floating on a sea of liquidity.

A one day event will wipe all longs out. Wall Street owns the FED and this will end soon.

All this excess and speculation has to end for the longer term health of this market. The only way will be for an overnight explosion that will wipe out any overnight holders of long positions.

How so soon many forget how easy this can happen.

This does not mean you cannot play the momo machine. But trade it and close out daily. Prudent risk management more important than greed at times like these. NEVER FORGET THAT!
