i hope you're right and csco goes way up so i can short it. i would like to do some more option plays on tech stocks, only this time it will be puts all the way. just need to be patient for the right time.

if csco does go way up, i hope you're able to get out with a good profit instead of riding it back down. i doubt csco will break its all time high, adjusted for inflation, within 50 years. JMO just my opinion and a wild-assed guess.

Hi Mindmeld - can I guess $23.50 and be the most right of all of you?

LOL... you've got half a year to go. This is a fantastic bear rally. Remember during '29-'33 there were several rallies of greater than 75%? Just like this. The hard part is figuring out how long it will run.

Remember, even if we credit your model with a PE of 42 in 2005 that's a 13%/y gain from here.

Or 5 days like yesterday for the next 5 years, with every other day in between totally cancelled out.

Profits are nice.

Cheers,
John.

All I can say is I wasn't too prescient when I bet chic hearne that I would make more long than he would short when the stock was at 30. I haven't heard from him or bambs lately, not that I'm complaining.knc

Hi all, just thought I'd remind my fellow guessers of our guesses. Here they are.

I said it would be $25 by 12/31/01 and $30 by 11/1/02
tippet (#52522) $10 by 12/31/01
Gottfired (#52575) said $31 by 12/31/2001
NYCBoy (#52575) said it $7 by 12/31/01 and $3 by 12/31/2002
Ed Forest (#52582) said $31.27 by 12/31/01
Bambs (#52577) said $8 by 11/01/02

The record still shows Bambs and NYCBoy to be the worst guessers and the best guessers of this bunch, tippet and myself, are tied for first based on the recent stock price.
