More from Briefing... 11:55 ET Genuity Suppliers : Genuity (GENU) had previously slashed 2001 capex to $1.4 bln from $2.2 bln; the incremental news is that Genuity sees the cuts extending through 2004. In addition to the
previously mentioned CSCO and RBAK, other suppliers that could be affected are Nortel (NT) and Lucent (LU). This news supports the more bearish interpretations of long-term telecom capex trends.
