I was not a Republican when I voted for Reagan. In fact, it took me almost a decade to change my registration. I think that Reagan is the greatest post- War president, that he set us on the path to prosperity and essentially won the Cold War. Bush countermanded standards put out at the last minute by Clinton. They were not written in stone. Similarly, Clinton went out of his way to tie up land against economic use by decreeing a flurry of "national monuments". I think Bush is on the right track......
