Just remember....the mm's can see your stop sitting there.....many times it is an invitation to come down and swoop up some cheaper shares......I dont know how many times I have been stopped out of a certain stock, only to see it end that particular day higher. With the volatility in most issues, stops will eventually get taken out....so do yourself a favor and sell higher rather then putting in a stop....when Scott mentioned his stop of $20 on stor, I remember telling myslef he should just go ahead and sell at $22 because 10-1 odds says they come down and take them shares at $20...and they did...now, he may be able to buy back for les then $20....probably will ......but, he still could have taken $2 more instead of puttting in a stop, that in my eyes, had a good chance of being scooped up........it's all a game with these mm's......
