More revisionism again!!!! The western cities LA, Phoenix, Las Vegas, etc. are not structured in any way that makes mass transit worthwhile. Mass transit, like any government project, needs the people herded in the bureaucrats required direction: into the center of the city in the morning, back out at night. If people don't act the correct way, we can't plan an economy, so I guess we just have to build concentration camps for the people who are in our way...
