You see where they are going with this don't you? Slowly but surely the American consumer is going to be blamed for what has/will happen. While there will certainly be plenty of legitimate blame for credit whores, Greenboink and the Fed had the chance to stop it instead of increasing the problem exponentially...what a damn mess.
