I typically react to fascists who want to control citizens through the state's power to tax. How about letting people make their own decisions.

What is waste? What is efficiency? Maybe it is bound up in what people want and at what cost and one is merely the opposite of the other. Choice....freedom. Humpty Dumpty says: "When I use a word it means just what I choose it to mean - - neither more nor less." And Alice responds: "The question is whether you can make words mean so many different things." And Humpty Dumpty answers "The question is: Which is to be Master - - that's all."
