The idiot tends to make his strongest statements when things are obvious. Where was he at DOW 9100? Or even DOW 10,000? Funny how he now becomes wildly bullish after the indexes have gained 20-30% already within a few weeks. I am amazed as well at his ability to retain the Guru notoriety.

Unfortunately, I don't think he'll be going away. Kind of reminds me of a cockroach. You just can't get rid of the dang things.

Captain,

re/Cramer----

"but for some reason he retains "quasi-Guru" status."

I must admit that I find Cramer bashing to be quite funny.
After all, since leaving the hedge fund biz, Cramer posts his purchases on the RealMoney site for all to see.
He is position trading since he has a mandatory holding period. (six months I believe) .

He is certainly doing better as a 'guru' than many of the 'perma bears' who continue to dominate this thread 24/7.
The 'bear' camp here has been promoting the Fleck and Goran Y.(tradingmarkets.com) while ignoring some stellar work done by Jeff Cooper (same site as GY) in late March which identified this turn quite early. If the record short interest on the AMEX (home of the QQQ's) should tell us anything, it is that the permabears who are permashort have yet to capitulate........ Of course, the market shall speak and it alone is the final word.

And, for those who listen to the beat of the market rather than using the economy to predict it, (very common in the commentary recently on this thread) , the last 2 months has been a profitable ride.

I try to read them all objectively but the market is the final arbiter and, as we know,

"Yea he who fights the tape
May he rest in peace"

Regards
