Ignore that comment. It is not really connected this way.
My keyboard was just out of control when I was typing that.<g>

I just meant that the semiconductors would not have sold off on this news as investors/analysts looked beyond the valley; it would not have changed opinions in the analyst community, IMHO.

In any case, the political events will be dictating the trading, IMHO. That that was not a factor tomorrow, I would have expected a net gain in the semiconductor stocks. Now we will probably see losses.
...depending upon how much this political event affects the market.
IMHO, it will be short term only..maybe lasting a day or so.
