Venkie, Doesn't your pc have 2 drives? One CD and the other DVD/CD? You should be be able to copy your cd's from the DVD/CD onto your CDRW.

Hi Venkie, If you have 1 CD player(a read, write....uh..right?), can't you copy selections off of it to the pc, then record them (burn em) from your pc to your blank cd? :0) Rambler

Hi Venkie, I haven't tried my cdrw yet, but it is a single drive, which is what it seems you have too. My understanding is that for recording a cd, you will use the cdrw to download the music as a file to your hard drive as a temporary file. Then you will use the cdrw to burn the blank cd. My Dell came with instructions & software to download to make it easy. No doubt you got it too. You can edit to record only the tunes you want too. IF you get stuck, I'll get my stuff out & we both can figure it out together :- Ö¿Ö
