Chip,

Yes you can set up your Excel charts to include future data. The last chart I posted looked forward 30 days.

However, with the way that Eric's ss is set up--the 'filldown' data that he has added for our convenience and which changes as you enter the CLX numbers every day will show future data that is not yet 'accurate'.
To get a chart set up to include future dates--you would have to keep those cells 'blank' and 'fill down' each day as you collect data. The formulas are 'there' in each cell from the prior day so that would method would work just fine.

If the columns that you are charting are adjacent--go to the top menu bar in Excel--and in the 'Chart' menu--click on 'source data'--there you can edit the entire series easily. Otherwise--just click on each series on the chart itself--and change the length of time as you wish: )

I have made a 'copy' of Eric's original spreadsheet using the 'save as' and renaming it as 'trial' so I am free to
have fun experimenting with it's 'clone'. <G> Also I can see no reason why you couldn't use a copy of the ss to build the gold or ndx or any other sets of data as long as the cell formulas were undistrubed.

His genius in building the macros and formulas to obtain the CLX data is masterful.
It is a great timesaver and also gives us a good method for checking data discrepancies.
