Fred, ML's checks are consistent with the April BTB. 08:04 ET TriQuint Semi (TQNT) 27.94: Merrill Lynch channel checks indicate TQNT has experienced push-outs and low bookings; believes these push-outs have occurred over the last four weeks and are coming from most major customers; firm lowering '01 est. to $0.35 from $0.43 and rev. forecast to $271 mln from $286 mln... Expects company to reduce revenue growth expectations for Q2 (from $70-$75 mln to $65 mln) when it issues business update after the close today. Regards, Tom
