iBEAM Broadcasting Announces Newest Technology, Adds ``Talkpoint'' to Product Line-Up; TalkPoint To Become Definitive Do-It-Yourself Webcasting Tool

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2001--iBEAM Broadcasting(R) Corp. (Nasdaq:IBEM), the leading provider of streaming communications solutions, today announced the full deployment of its newest technology, TalkPoint(TM). TalkPoint technology is a unique, web-based, self-publishing presentation tool that addresses the demands for low-cost easy-to-use, flexible presentation options for the financial and enterprise markets. It is the latest product to join iBEAM's Activecast(TM) family of advanced integrated streaming media applications that allow companies to create innovative communications and save money with interactive webcasts.

TalkPoint, which iBEAM(R) acquired as part of the recently announced agreement with CCBN, (www.ccbn.com), the leading provider of Internet-based shareholder communications services, is a presentation application that enables users to easily broadcast complex media presentations to widely dispersed audiences live or on demand. The product has a proven track record with a significant number of CCBN's large client base, which has grown to rely on the technology for quarterly earnings conference calls, annual shareholder meetings and other investor related events.

TalkPoint holds a unique position in iBEAM's Activecast family since it enables anyone with a minimal level of technical skill to communicate with any size audience, simply, cost-effectively and without geographical limits. Its browser-based technology uses basic, everyday tools such as the telephone, an Internet connection and PowerPoint to create complex presentations that do not require plug-ins or outside production resources.

"Now, anyone, anywhere, inside a corporation can publish integrated presentations without the need for complicated production or MIS resources," said iBEAM chairman, president and CEO Peter Desnoes. "With the addition of TalkPoint to our expansive breadth of streaming services, iBEAM has strengthened its position as the leader of content delivery and continues to be unparalleled in the market place."

TalkPoint presentations are not only easy to create, but they are easily received. Low bandwidth requirements allow audiences with a variety of technical capabilities to view outgoing content with a single phone line and an Internet connection. Viewers can now receive integrated product briefings, sales force training, employee updates, lead generations, and analyst commentaries through a standard Internet browser without firewall restrictions, the requirement of downloads or extra hardware.

Additional TalkPoint options include flexible registration features, the ability to collect detailed viewer information, and comprehensive reporting capabilities. Despite the product's simplicity, technical support will also be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The TalkPoint application expands iBEAM's Activecast product family for interactive webcasting. iBEAM's Activecast interactive webcasting solutions are fully integrated communication platforms that combine streaming audio and video communications with slide presentations and interactive features, in one customizable interface. This interactivity can include live Q&A, audience polling, chat, chapter indexing, and links to related content or e-commerce items. More information about TalkPoint can be found on iBEAM's website at www.ibeam.com.

exactly what the mm's wanted,this
way they never have to cover there
big shorts in most of these stocks..
the mm's knew that one day the party would
end on the otc in reference to non disclosure
and naked shorting..i have said that for a few
months that the party was coming to an end,but
if they drive these companies to the pinks where
the s.e.c will never get involved in than they
succeeded..

as for voyagers mention of the pinks-the s.e.c will
not go into that market,if you fail to meet there half
of the regulations and file, than they will not come to
you and try to help...it is a give and take game..
first you have to give!!!!!!

I don't own one of those. There's a lot to be said for cash...at the end of the day, except for obvious gappers.

No need to worry, get great sleeps, sleep in if you want...LOL I love it. Especially when they are letting many run wild these days... 10 minutes, an hour or so, maybe overnight...and NEXT!
