EVERY TECHNOLOGY GOES THROUGH TIMES LIKE THE ONE 3G IS GOING THROUGH. >> not so. just read the article i just posted to you. The truth hurts, eh mindmeld? You are thick with ignorance and blissfull whimsy. Not a good state of mind to have when money is at stake. No wonder you still believe you'll get a 10 bagger out of csco in a few yrs!! LOL !! <<In addition, every technology takes longer to deploy than the hypesters originally thought. >> You're one of the hypesters. So it will take a lot longer than what you say - that it's about to happen any day now!! mm, I got on the internet and the web in 1994. And even at that premature stage of the infrastructure and content, I was amazed. My amazement re the internet and the WWW has only grown with time. And so has my business understanding of what is financially feasible and what is not. What you are about to see is sites like yahoo and google and cbsmarketwatch and others charging fees, because otherwise it simply cannot survive. The economics don't work. The "free" web is about to get very expensive, especially considering that it has all been "free" up to now. Imagine what that will do to co's like csco. Hint: it will be hard medicine, my friend. But this, you cannot understand. You simply gloss over the hard financial realities of all this technology that turns you into a little kid on Christmas morning. You are blind to the economincs of the web, and the cold, hard financial realities that csco and all the other enterprise networking and optical suppliers, are now facing. <<Do you even know who Victor Lazlo was? >> yes I do. <<He was the namesake for the guy who invented forensic investigatory techniques in a Caleb Carr novel. >> No he wasn't. mindmeld, you continue to live in the dotcom, bottomless money pit dreamworld, even after the crash. You are the dazed, yet starry-eyed, homeless "investor" staggering along empty streets where arrogant dotcom 20-something CEOs once swaggered, yet tumbleweeds now drift as you do- just hoping for the resurgence of the long-lost dream of a dotcom fanasy where there was al the money in the world and no tab to pay, ever. It won't ever come back, but you can't see that yet..... you just keep wandering along holding onto the dream..... Victor Lazlo
