Tony, from the note: Dell is not currently considering AMD or Transmeta processors. Dell prefers to remain single source (Intel) to reduce complexity as long as Intel can keep prices declining.

This is what most here originally thought. It's (was?) only another ploy from Dell to get lower prices from Intel. Not that it would be the first time (and not that Dell would be the only OEM doing this on a regular basis). I bet that after today's mobile Athlon design wins and a few more upcoming one, Intel will slash their mobile processor prices more drastically -- at least for selected customers.

Judging from today's stock action, a design win from Dell wasn't priced in (only down a buck with the rest of the market). This bodes well for the stock in the short-term. Let's see what Computex brings.
