>Bush ran on a moderate platform, and now that he's in he's presenting a decidedly right-wing agenda. That's just as much of a "betrayal" of the voters. He also represents energy sector & look what has happened, gas has gone through roof, no price cap. When congress goes for election in 2002, republicans will loose there too. I am republican but shocked with this administration policies. I do not believe in changing party but in this case I can accept it. Also we might have justice scalia all over in the judiciary. Banning funding for abortions is crazy to the max in poor countries. IMHO.
