I have told you in the past, I am against buidling on the property that belongs to the others!

Belongs to whom? King Abdullah of Jordan?? His powerful backers who possessed the King's blessing and were granted tracts of land in return for their support??

And since Jews were forbidden under Jordanian law from being sold property by Arab owners, doesn't that undercut the claim that Jews were kicking Arabs off of their lands? It sounds to me like they were paying top dollar (pound) per acre and the poverty stricken Palestinians and Arabs who did own land lept at the opportunity to cash out.

Besides the majority of settlements were built on hilltops, mainly parallel to the border between Israel and Jordan, and their intent is to serve as a buffer against a future Arab invasion. Places where Palestinians weren't living in the first place.
