You are forgetting that democrats use the phrase, tax cuts so broadly that in their mouths it is meaningless. They know that tax cuts are popular and think Americans are too dumb to know the difference.

So it is entirely in character for Scumbria to advocate taking the money formerly used to pay interest on debt, spending it on new entitlement programs, and calling it a tax cut.

You are assuming that the hole will not be filled with more spending.
