I'll send him some money from Ca if he jumps ship !!! He'll have plenty of donations from alot of Americans that are scared of the right wing agenda.....even moderate Republicans. One of Tom Campbell's PR men was on the SF radio this morning jumping for glee. Campbell was a moderate Republican who was shined by the Gingrich House of Representatives and feels the party has gone too far to the right.

LG--Jeffords power actually has come from the large Independent base in Vermont.But himself comes from a rock solid Republican family,but you simply don't go to arm-twisting a Vermonter. If he was a democrat and Clinton started to turn on thumb-screws,he would as easily have bolted from being a Democrat. My favorite state motto is "live free or die".That being the motto of New Hampshire. And that is one reason i feel that there are so many independent voters in upper new England,we don't want to be ruled by set in stone idealogies,and goose-step to one tune.We like unpredictable.max
