City of Laguna Niguel also replacing traffic lights with LEDs.

I'm a new poster on this thread so I hope I don't duplicate common knowledge. I could be wrong about the exact city but it was one of the large suburbs in southern metro Los Angeles.

I've been getting into backpacking lately and I ran across LED flashlights about the size of a nickle called Photon lights @ $10 - $15.00. These Photon lights are amazing. They are rapidly replacing normal flashlights among backpackers. They ARE going to replace standard flashlights. There are also standard sized flashlights that contain several LEDs but the batteries last about 50 to 100Xs as long as regular bulbs. After you see these flashlights and in view of what's happening in California it's easy to imagine the wholesale replacement of normal bulbs.

I've been a small time investor in CREE for a year or so, that's why I noticed these things. Think I'll put a little more money in it.
