I've watched your posts with some bemusement. Now I don't necessarily agree with Mr. Watson in all respects. But, I will say that Republicans and conservatives have been a political minority for too long. We need to act like winners. Take no prisoners. Fight fire with fire. That is the way the Dems play. They are willing to do or say anything to win, because power, the power to make things happen is what is at stake. The way the Republicans have run the House and Senate since they gained control has been a great disappointment. As I've said before on these threads, it makes no sense to me to fight by the Marquis of Queensbury Rules while the other side feels free to bite, kick, scratch and gouge. Politics, like mudwresting or sausage making, is a messy business and results, rather than appearances, are what I am most interested in.
