It's confiscatory because it does not take an equal percentage of income from all tax payers. Anything over the average rate is confiscatory.

Why do you have trouble understanding such a simple concept?

I am not attacking you over the content of the link. I didn't even read the links. I am attacking you because of your use of the word "supposedly". You said it was "supposedly" confiscatory to tax at 39.6% and I was pointing out that it IS confiscatory. Regarding the 70% to 90% top tax rate I am surprised that it was that high. I took your word that it was true. Wasn't alive yet so I wasn't paying taxes then.
