Some Canadian college kids went into the Sweetgrass Hills of Montana and found some hidden caves. In the caves were relics made from sea-shells that came all the way from the Gulf of Mexico. Even though it was a completely unknown area the kids faced up to $10,000 in fines for touching the relics and possible jail time for disturbing them. I think they got off scott free because it was an unknown cache of relics.

If I found something I would leave it on the door step of some museum with a written apology.
