Does this count? (Or maybe it's just a 'surface wound', as Monty Python would say;-)

Advanced Micro CEO Sanders Files To Sell 400,000 Shares
Dow Jones Newswires

WASHINGTON -- Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) Chairman and Chief Executive W.J. Sanders III filed to sell 400,000 shares of the company's common stock, according to a Form 144 released Wednesday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Sanders listed May 16 as the approximate sale date for the shares, which have a market value of about $12.4 million, according to the filing.

The filing listed Credit Suisse First Boston as the broker for the sale.

As of Feb. 26, Sanders beneficially owned 3,185,512 shares of Advanced Micro Devices common stock - a 1.01% stake - including options exercisable within 60 days to acquire 2,950,000 shares, according to the company's most recent proxy statement.

A Form 144 allows for the sale of restricted stock, but it isn't a commitment to sell.

EDIT: Disclosure: Over the last few days I have transitioned out of my AMD shares. So now I'm hoping for a buy opp. (Don't want to miss the moon-shot, assuming it happens in my lifetime <ggg>)

EDIT²: Hardly seems fair to give 'notice' that you're going to sell after you've sold, assuming he sold on May 16, which was a week ago.
