Infineon <IFXGn.DE> CEO says Q3 loss likely BARCELONA, May 23 (Reuters) - German semiconductor maker Infineon Technologies AG <IFXGn.DE> said on Wednesday it was likely to post a loss in the third quarter as the slump in demand for memory and communications chips continued. "I think it's pretty likely that we'll have a third quarter loss," Chief Executive Ulrich Schumacher said at the margins of a technology investor conference here. He said it remained extremely difficult to estimate the level of demand in the semiconductor sector as a whole. "Speaking quite frankly, nobody really knows what's going to happen in the next six months," he said.
